Volleyball Recap: Clay County Takes a Loss

Clay County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They came up short against the James Monroe Mavericks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-6, 25-8.

Rileigh Jackson was the offensive standout of the match as she had nine digs and four assists. Those nine digs gave her a new career-high.

Clay County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-23. As for James Monroe, their record now sits at 32-10-3.

As of now, neither Clay County nor the Mavericks have any future games scheduled.
