Baker County won the last time they faced Atlantic Coast and things went their way on Friday too. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Stingrays 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since April 15, 2025.

Baker County got a great performance from Grace Masterson as she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Baker County's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Matti Minshew, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Baker County has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 7.0 runs this season. As for Atlantic Coast, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Baker County will head out to take on Baldwin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Atlantic Coast, they will venture away from home to square off against Fletcher at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
