Volleyball Recap: Century's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Century entered their tilt with Albert Lea on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Laney Stellmaker paced Century's offense, picking up ten kills. Stellmaker really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 17. Emma Greene and Lila Sas kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Century's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Albert Lea, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Century didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Esko on the 30th. As for Albert Lea, they will take on Owatonna at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
