Santaluces scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They escaped with a win against Atlantic by the margin of a single free throw, 75-74. The win was nothing new for Santaluces as they're now sitting on five straight.
It was another big night for Decarious Jenkins, who scored 32 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Jeff Accelus, who scored seven points along with three blocks and two steals.
Meanwhile, Dwyer can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 71-30 victory over Suncoast. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-20.
Santaluces pushed their record up to 7-8 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Dwyer, their win bumped their record up to 15-3.
