High Plains extended their home winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Peyton Hofmann. The High Plains Storm came out on top against the McCool Junction Mustangs by a score of 46-35 on Thursday thanks in part to Hofmann, who went 7-for-15 en route to 19 points and five boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in January.

Gahvrielle Lesiak was another key player, putting up ten points. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Despite the loss, McCool Junction still got an impressive performance from Claire Brugger, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Brugger has become a key player for McCool Junction: the team is 4-2 when she posts at least 15 points, but 6-11 otherwise.

High Plains is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. McCool Junction's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.

As of now, neither High Plains nor McCool Junction have any future games scheduled.
