Boulder had to endure a five-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Northglenn Norsemen with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The Panthers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 29th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Boulder took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-15.

Lucianna Welles paced Boulder's offense, picking up 21 kills. Welles got some help from Mackenzie Horning and her 23 assists. Maja Giecold controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Boulder's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Northglenn, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Boulder will square off against rival Mountain Range at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northglenn is set to challenge their familiar foe Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
