Soccer Recap: Groton School Takes a Loss

Groton School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights, falling 5-1. If Groton School was looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to Buckingham Browne & Nichols when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Groton School's loss dropped their record down to 1-9-3. As for Buckingham Browne & Nichols, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Groton School is set to take on their familiar foe Roxbury Latin at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Buckingham Browne & Nichols will square off against rival St. George's at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
