Baseball Recap: Phoenix Takes a Loss

Phoenix fell victim to Henley and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 6-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Pirates were not able to get on the board.

Phoenix has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-4 record this season. As for Henley, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

While Phoenix had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
