Basketball Recap: Gordo Comes Up Short

Gordo lost against Fayette County back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The match between the Gordo Green Wave and the Fayette County Tigers didn't end well, with the Gordo Green Wave falling 62-45. The Green Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gordo's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Fayette County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.

Gordo will be playing in front of their home fans against Northside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fayette County, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Sulligent at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
