Soccer Game Preview: Waunakee vs. North Fond du Lac

The Waunakee Warriors will square off against the North Fond du Lac Orioles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Waunakee turned things around against Milton on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Red Hawks 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Waunakee were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, North Fond du Lac kept a clean sheet against Wayland Academy on Thursday. They blew past the Big Red 8-0. Aldo Ceballos was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

The win got Waunakee back to even at 5-5. As for North Fond du Lac, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1.
