With a playoff win on the line, Trinity Christian rose to the challenge on Thursday. They took down Thunderbird Adventist Academy 74-55. The victory was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won 13 games in a row.

Thunderbird Adventist Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gideon Orellana, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 15 points and five rebounds. The contest was Orellana's third in a row with at least 15 points. Aziel Perez was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Trinity Christian's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Thunderbird Adventist Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.

Coming up, Trinity Christian will take on Tri-City Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tri-City Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matchups -- so hopefully Trinity Christian likes a good challenge. Thunderbird Adventist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
