Volleyball Game Preview: Leland Chargers vs. Evergreen Valley Cougars

The Leland Chargers will head out on the road to face off against the Evergreen Valley Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Leland saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Rancho San Juan by a score of 2-1. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Evergreen Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Del Mar on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Evergreen Valley has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season. Leland's loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Leland came up short against Evergreen Valley when the teams last played back in March of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Leland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
