Volleyball Recap: Walnut Hills Eagles vs. Kings Knights
Walnut Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Kings Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-12.
Among those leading the charge was Kennady Horsley, who had ten digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.
Walnut Hills' loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Kings, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Walnut Hills will head out to face off against Lakota East at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kings, they will venture away from home to challenge Turpin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
