Baseball Recap: Grant Takes a Loss

Grant fell victim to Jesuit and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crusaders. The Generals' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Grant's record now sits at 5-4. As for Jesuit, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grant will square off against Barlow at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jesuit, they will take on Mountain View at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.6 runs per game on average), something the Crusaders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
