Basketball Recap: Pace Academy Skates Past Forest Park with Ease + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Pace Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Forest Park Panthers 69-2 on Tuesday. With the Knights ahead 37-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Lawson Monroe was nothing short of spectacular: she shot 86% from the field to rack up 26 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds. The matchup was her third in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Khloe Smith, who went 7-for-17 on her way to 15 points and four steals.

Pace Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Pace Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Forest Park, they are on a 28-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
