Volleyball Recap: South Gate Comes Up Short

After flying high against Huntington Park last Wednesday, South Gate came back down to earth. The Rams came up short against the Roosevelt Rough Riders on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rough Riders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While South Gate ultimately came up short, they really made Roosevelt work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 26-24.

South Gate's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

Coming up, South Gate will face off against Legacy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Roosevelt, they will challenge Oakwood at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
