Terrell came into Friday's match having lost ten straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Ennis Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Terrell was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-23, 25-22.

Terrell's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 4-16. As for Ennis, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-19-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Terrell is set to challenge their familiar foe Kaufman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ennis will square off against rival Midlothian Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
