Volleyball Recap: Eisenhower Tigers vs. Andover Trojans

Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Andover Trojans. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Andover scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18.

Eisenhower's offense was headlined by Sydney Nance and Audrina Flesher, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Emilee George and her 14 assists.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Andover, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Eisenhower will square off against Great Bend at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Andover, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Andover Central on the 30th.
