Softball Recap: Santa Fe Demons vs. Sandia Matadors
Santa Fe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 18-2 to the Sandia Matadors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Matadors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-2 on Wednesday.
Santa Fe saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was A'Mya Jeselink, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.
Santa Fe's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Sandia, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Santa Fe is set to face off against their familiar foe Capital at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Sandia will take on rival Manzano at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
