It was a good run, but Canyon Springs unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Heritage Patriots. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Patriots when the teams met back in March of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Canyon Springs started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-16.

Canyon Springs now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Heritage, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canyon Springs will challenge Orange Vista at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heritage, they will venture away from home to face off against Perris at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
