Brethren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. Their rough 21-0 defeat to the Vestaburg Wolverines might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Brethren of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on Friday.
For Vestaburg's part, Sasha Page made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Page was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
