Softball Game Preview: Grand Street Campus Wolves vs. John Jay Wolves

Grand Street Campus will face off against John Jay at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Grand Street Campus is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Lincoln on Monday as they made off with a 22-4 win. The Wolves have beaten the Railsplitters the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Railsplitters has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but John Jay ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past Somers 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Grand Street Campus' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for John Jay, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
