Soccer Recap: Dixon Takes a Loss

Dixon entered their game against Woodland on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Dixon Rams came up short against the Woodland Wolves, falling 3-0. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, the Rams' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Dixon's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3-1. As for Woodland, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0-1.

Dixon wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against El Camino on the 20th. Woodland has also already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Rio Linda on the 20th.
