Basketball Game Preview: Bethel Wildcats vs. Bunnell Bulldogs

The Bethel Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Bunnell Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bethel knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Bunnell likes a good challenge.

Bethel is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They beat Foran by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 58-53. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Bunnell didn't have too much trouble with East Lyme on Thursday as they won 67-49. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Bethel's record now sits at 15-6. As for Bunnell, their record now sits at 16-4.

Bethel might still be hurting after the 70-50 defeat they got from Bunnell in their previous matchup back in February. Can Bethel avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
