Soccer Recap: Wesson Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Loyd Star, Wesson was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-3 win over the Mendenhall Tigers. It was an even better day for Melvin Hernadez as he scored three goals for his team.

Wesson now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mendenhall, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, Wesson will welcome Bogue Chitto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mendenhall, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 6-0 loss against Forrest County Agricultural on the 13th.
