Gainesville and Farmersville's matchup on Friday was close at halftime, but Gainesville turned on the heat in the second half with four goals. Everything went the Gainesville Leopards' way against the Farmersville Farmers as the Gainesville Leopards made off with a 5-2 win. Considering the Leopards have won eight games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Farmersville with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jasmyn Jackson (2), Maya Torres, Janely Vazquez, and Noemi Gonzalez.

Gainesville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those eight matches. Farmersville is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.
