Baseball Recap: Lee-Scott Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Valley

Lee-Scott Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 14-2 to the Valley Rams on Thursday.

Lee-Scott Academy got a good showing from Davis MacIsaac, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Lee-Scott Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allen Owen, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Lee-Scott Academy has already played their next game, a 13-1 defeat against Enterprise on the 14th. As for Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 16-4 victory against Westminster School at Oak Mountain on the 15th.
