Volleyball Game Preview: Cedar Springs Red Hawks vs. Allendale Falcons + How To Watch

The Cedar Springs Red Hawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Allendale Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Allendale took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Cedar Springs, who comes in off a win.

Cedar Springs is headed into the match having just posted their closest win since August 23rd on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Ottawa Hills, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Hawks.

Cedar Springs had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-17, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Allendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Lowell, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Falcons seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-12, 25-18.

Cedar Springs' victory bumped their record up to 7-19-3. As for Allendale, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 16-6.

Cedar Springs skirted past Allendale 3-2 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Hawks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
