Basketball Recap: Egyptian Comes Up Short

Egyptian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Cairo Pilots 94-54. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pharaohs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 99-30 back in December of 2024.

Egyptian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kendrick Williams, who posted 12 points and eight boards, and Damarion Clark, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 15 points.

Egyptian's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Cairo, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-11.

Egyptian will challenge Agape Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cairo, they will square off against Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
