Jack Trickel put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Friday. He struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. He has become a key player for Palisades: the team is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-6 otherwise.

Trickel's effort led Palisades over Catasauqua and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
