Softball Recap: Kickapoo Takes a Loss

Kickapoo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Ithaca/Weston, falling 15-2.

Kickapoo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ithaca/Weston, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Looking ahead, Kickapoo will challenge Wauzeka-Steuben at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for Ithaca/Weston, they will take on Riverdale at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chieftains have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.8 runs per game on average), something Ithaca/Weston will no doubt try to take advantage of.
