Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Roosevelt unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Apple Valley Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. One thing that didn't help Roosevelt's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Eilif Taylor.

Coming up, Roosevelt will take on Washington Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Apple Valley, they will challenge Minneapolis Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
