Baseball Recap: Antioch Comes Up Short

Antioch was the 7-2 winner over Hume-Fogg when they last played one another back in March of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Antioch Bears came up short against the Hume-Fogg Blue Knights on Monday, falling 11-1. The loss leaves the Bears still looking for their first win of the season.

Antioch's record is now 0-4. As for Hume-Fogg, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-6 record.

Coming up, Antioch will head out on the road to take on East Nashville Magnet at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hume-Fogg, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Nashville Christian at 5:00 p.m. Nashville Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.5 runs per game on average), something Hume-Fogg will no doubt try to take advantage of.
