Recap: Southwest Leadership Academy Rams vs. Phoenix College Prep
The Southwest Leadership Academy Rams won the last time they faced Phoenix College Prep, and things went their way on Thursday too. Southwest Leadership Academy blew past Phoenix College Prep 57-37. The win made it back-to-back wins for Southwest Leadership Academy.
Ayden Gonzales was the offensive standout of the game as he went 7 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 0 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Raja Williams, who scored 8 points along with 10 rebounds.
Southwest Leadership Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Phoenix College Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwest Leadership Academy will square off against El Dorado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Phoenix College Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against West Phoenix at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
