Baseball Recap: Caldwell's Undefeated Season over After 12 Games

After flying high against Shenandoah on Wednesday, Caldwell came back down to earth. The Redskins fell just short of the Toronto Red Knights by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The loss was the Redskins' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Caldwell fell to 11-1. As for Toronto, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Caldwell will venture away from home to challenge Parkersburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Toronto, they will head out to square off against East Liverpool at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Red Knights are facing the Potters at the right time seeing as the Potters are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
