Softball Game Preview: Beloit Memorial Purple Knights vs. Burlington Demons

Beloit Memorial hasn't had much luck against Burlington recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Purple Knights will square off against the Demons at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Beloit Memorial's offense. They lost 10-0 to Westosha Central on Monday. The Purple Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Beloit Memorial saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evelynn Karr, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Burlington couldn't beat Union Grove on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the seventh inning. The Demons came up short against the Broncos, falling 12-6. The Demons haven't had much luck with the Broncos recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Beloit Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Burlington, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Beloit Memorial suffered a grim 15-4 defeat to Burlington in their previous meeting back in April. Can the Purple Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
