Baseball Recap: Raytown Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Raytown's offense. They came up short against the Platte County Pirates on Monday, falling 11-0. The Bluejays haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Raytown's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Platte County, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Raytown will host Truman at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Platte County, they will challenge Grain Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight.
