Basketball Recap: La Villa Takes a Loss

La Villa lost against Agua Dulce on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The La Villa Cardinals took a blow against the Agua Dulce Longhorns, falling 86-30. The matchup marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

La Villa's loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Agua Dulce, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

La Villa will be playing at home against Premont at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. La Villa is facing Premont at the right time seeing as Premont is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Agua Dulce, they are taking a road trip to square off against Freer at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
