Basketball Recap: Waterford Takes a Loss

Waterford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 68-49 bruising from the Woodstock Academy Centaurs. The matchup was a 28-28 toss-up at halftime, but the Lancers couldn't quite close it out.

Waterford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Woodstock Academy, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterford will head out to take on Griswold at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Woodstock Academy, they will face off against Rockville at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
