Armada had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on Regina with a sharp 7-1 victory on Saturday. Considering the Tigers have won 20 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Armada's sixth in a row) raised their record to 33-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Regina, they moved to 12-9 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Armada didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against St. Mary's Prep on the 6th. As for Regina, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-3 victory against Imlay City on the 6th.
