Soccer Recap: New Albany Takes a Loss

New Albany lost against Switzerland County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Pacers, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, New Albany can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Switzerland County are ranked 22nd).

This is the second loss in a row for New Albany and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Switzerland County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Albany will challenge Silver Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Switzerland County, they will square off against Rising Sun at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
