Soccer Recap: Coon Rapids-Bayard Comes Up Short

Coon Rapids-Bayard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Gilbert Tigers. While losing is never fun, Coon Rapids-Bayard can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 191st, while Gilbert are ranked 28th).

Coon Rapids-Bayard's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Gilbert, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2-2 record this season.

Coon Rapids-Bayard will venture away from home to take on Denison-Schleswig at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gilbert, they will welcome Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
