Basketball Recap: GEO Next Generation Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

GEO Next Generation gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They came out on top against the Central Wildcats by a score of 46-35.

GEO Next Generation's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylee Jones, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Ivoryana Powell, who put up 11 points.

Despite the defeat, Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sha'Nijah Cage had 23 points.

Coming up, GEO Next Generation will head out to take on Tara at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central, they will be playing at home against De La Salle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
