West Plains is 5-0 against Borger since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Both will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:30 p.m. Borger took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on West Plains, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, West Plains beat Canyon 47-40. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Meanwhile, Borger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They came up short against Perryton, falling 65-43.

West Plains will have to contain Tahqulin Brooks as he made an impact in Borger's last game. He dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten boards. That was a full 62.8% of Borger's points, marking the 17th time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

West Plains has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Borger, their loss dropped their record down to 2-21.

Everything came up roses for West Plains against Borger in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 59-29 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Plains since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
