Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marlin). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Bruceville-Eddy Eagles 71-17. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Marlin now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Bruceville-Eddy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Riesel the next time they take the court. Bruceville-Eddy will head out to face Riesel at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Marlin will host them at 6:00 p.m. on December 31st.
