Leakey won the last time they faced Knippa and things went their way on Friday too. The Leakey Eagles blew past the Knippa Crushers 44-10. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 21 points or more this season.

Leakey pushed their record up to 11-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.3 points per game. As for Knippa, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Leakey will challenge Nueces Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nueces Canyon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Leakey likes a good challenge. As for Knippa, they will host Comstock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
