Volleyball Recap: St. Cloud Finds Home Court Redemption Against Liberty

There's no place like home for St. Cloud, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Liberty Chargers with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Dante Cayaban paced St. Cloud's offense, picking up 11 kills. Cayaban got some help from Enrique Soto and his 21 assists. Soto was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

St. Cloud's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Liberty, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Cloud will take on Ridge Community at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Liberty, they will face off against Mater Brighton Lakes Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Chargers are facing the Broncos at the right time seeing as the Broncos are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
