Volleyball Recap: Warren Takes a Loss

Warren lost against Madison back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mavericks. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valeria Ceballos paced Warren's offense, picking up four kills. Ceballos got some help from Gabby Davila and her seven assists. Leah Erb controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Among those leading the charge was Aubrianna Jefferson, who had 17 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Warren's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Madison, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Warren didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Fredericksburg on the 16th. As for Madison, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Davenport on the 16th.
