Basketball Recap: Deerfield Comes Up Short

Deerfield lost against New Trier back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors were outmatched by the Trevians and fell 56-21. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Deerfield's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for New Trier, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Deerfield won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Crystal Lake Central at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for New Trier, they will take on Vernon Hills in a tournament on Friday.
