Volleyball Recap: Danielle Primavera's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Sebastian River over Legacy

If Sebastian River was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Melbourne Central Catholic on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sharks lost 3-0 to the Legacy Lions on Tuesday.

While Sebastian River ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-20.

Sebastian River lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Danielle Primavera, who had 13 assists and eight digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more assists the last ten times she's played. Elizabeth Bryant was another key player, getting nine digs and six assists.

Sebastian River has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for Legacy, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 8-4.
